The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. We do not want finances to be an obstacle to obtaining a beautiful smile. We offer many payment options to meet the financial needs of all of our patients. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.

Fees

Our Treatment Coordinator will discuss the orthodontic treatment fee and all the features it includes (e.g., retainers). In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:

  • If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount.
  • A down payment (25% of the total cost) at the start of treatment and monthly payments divided out over the course of treatment. Our doctors carry this contract in the office at no additional interest or finance charge.
  • No-down-payment outside financing through Care Credit™. Care Credit™ offers some of the lowest interest rates available for this type of loan. They require no down payment and low monthly payments up to 60 months.
  • For your convenience, we accept payment by most major credit cards.
  • In cases of serious delinquency, treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance

Unlike insurance coverage for regular dental treatment, most orthodontic coverage typically has a lifetime maximum benefit for each insured individual for orthodontic services rendered. Our office will help you figure out a payment that is most suited to your needs. If you have insurance coverage, we can help you fill out your insurance forms so that you may collect that benefit directly from your insurance company. This benefit is generally paid monthly through the duration of treatment until the maximum benefit has been attained.

Flexible Spending

If your employer offers a flexible spending plan, we can help plan your orthodontic expenses by utilizing these pretax dollars.
